Matlo (matlo.app and app.matlo.app) is published on a non-professional basis by a private individual, as a project in its preliminary phase. Under article 6-III-2 of French law no. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 (LCEN), the publisher's identity is provided to the hosting provider and is not made public. Contact: contact@matlo.app.

Intellectual property
The Matlo name, the checkerboard logo, the interface and the application code belong to the publisher. Third-party elements: kiwen-suwi chess pieces (CC BY 4.0, via Lichess), Lucide icons (ISC), Public Sans typeface (OFL), Stockfish engine (GPL v3), chessops library (GPL v3). Puzzles from the Lichess database are CC0. Positions taken from a player's games remain theirs.
Third-party services
Lichess (lichess.org) and Chess.com (chess.com) are independent services, unaffiliated with Matlo. Matlo only reads the public data these services expose through their official interfaces, with the player's consent.
Liability
Matlo is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability or accuracy of the analyses. The service may be interrupted, changed or discontinued during the preliminary phase. The publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damages related to the use of the service. Reports (bugs, content, security): contact@matlo.app.
Preliminary phase
Matlo is in its preliminary phase. Accounts created during this phase carry the founding-member status, with no other commitment.
Governing law
This notice is governed by French law. In case of dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, French courts have jurisdiction.
